Nursing is the forefront of any health care organization.  From the long hours and constant dedication to the genuine care that nurses provide for their patients.  Nurses are often the official go to source and at the core of any health care professional team.  You will be joining a team of health care professionals devoted to providing the ultimate patient care.  Your team will focus on the patients, and make a world of difference not only in their health care but also their daily lives and the lives of their families.

Developing relationships with your team is crucial.  You will not only work together, but make decisions together — decisions that can save lives.  You will share knowledge and ideas and continuously learn together.  Your opinions and ideas will make an impact in many lives, in the patients, and the health care facilities and other staff members. Together you will create a vibrant, full environment for the entire health care team to grow and thrive.

There are many things you can do as a nurse to begin this journey and continue on this path in the future.  You can lecture at community events and area health care facilities and organizations.  You will develop bonds with students and make an impact on their lives and feel satisfaction knowing that you have made a difference.  Talk to your students and find out what impact you have had.  Develop these relationships and you can learn from them as well as have them learn from you.

You also can become the student and take classes yourself.  Continuously learning and engaging with your community will help grow your skill set and your network.  As you learn you can share these ideas with your team and further develop these relationships.
