All the top registry cleaners will provide a free registry scan, and then show you a list of the problems which it has located. You can  look at this report, then make your decision whether or not to use the utility to fix registry problems, and get the computer back to full speed. We found that all of the registry repair tools which we tested would do an acceptable job of cleaning the registry. However some were clearly better in performance and in ease of use. One in particular stood out as best and was able to find and remove up to 50% more errors than some others.

Our recommendation would be that you should obtain a free registry scan to determine if you do actually have registry problems. You can then take a look at the results of this and consider what you should do. You can repair the registry by using the repair application if you wish. Leaving it as is should not be your decision as it will only get worse as time passes.
